Abstract

Pausing in the joint involving the subjective and the objective, constructivist structuralism of Bourdieu proposes to overcome the opposition between objectivism and subjectivism through a dialectical relationship that converges to a practice that is the product of the combination involving structured arrangements (habitus) and the objective structures and confined to a socially predetermined field, transcending the agents and their interactions, emerges as a force field and function in fights field of conservation or its transformation into a process that depends on the correlations enclosing social positions, the rules and the positions taken. Thus, analyzing the school system, the article points out that if the intermediation of provisions imposes to the relationship involving the social positions and the positions in one based on symbolic domination system that tends to reproduction, the transformation of social space is in a movement whose possibilities are listed at the beginning of the structuring of habitus.
