ANÁLISE COMPARATIVA DE EMISSÃO DE CO2 E PREÇO DE COMERCIALIZAÇÃO DE AGREGADOS NATURAIS E RECICLADOS NA REGIÃO METROPOLITANA DE GOIÂNIA/GO
Abstract
For the development of civil construction in the country, there is a need to use good quality natural aggregates. However, depending on their purpose, their availability and quality can be compared to that of a recycled aggregate. The objective of this work is to carry out a comparative analysis of natural and recycled aggregates from two companies in the metropolitan region of Goiânia-GO. The emission of carbon dioxide (CO2) during the transport phase of materials and the sale prices of recycled and natural materials were compared. The study was based on the analysis of data collected in loco through technical visits, in a quarry and a recycling plant, with subsequent analysis of advantages and disadvantages of each production system. It was possible to identify advantages in the production process of recycled aggregates, with more competitive prices, which contributes to sustainability in the civil construction industry.
