The research was conducted through a comprehensive literature review and a survey with employees of large iron ore companies. The survey aimed to identify professionals' perceptions of price fluctuations, and the strategies adopted by their companies to manage the challenges arising from this volatility. The results indicate significant awareness among employees regarding price variations and reveal diverse risk management practices within the companies, such as the use of futures contracts and hedging strategies.
