AVALIAÇÃO ESPACIAL DOS REGISTROS DE DENGUE NO MUNICÍPIO DE NERÓPOLIS NO ANO DE 2022
Abstract
Dengue fever is one of the diseases that has most concerned public health authorities in tropical and subtropical regions, The objective was to map and analyze the spatial distribution of dengue cases in the municipality of Nerópolis (GO) in 2022. Geoprocessing techniques associated with the dengue case record spreadsheet for 2022 obtained from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) were used. A total of 787 dengue cases were specialized in 2022, which are located in the South sector but mainly in the oldest and most central neighborhoods of the city: Parque das Américas and Setor Central. The epidemiological bulletin identified that the largest number of cases occurred in the first three months of the year (January, February and March), which may be related to the rainy season. It was also possible to associate the proliferation of Aedes aegypti with anthropogenic factors, such as inadequate waste management and stagnant water, rather than with the presence of green areas or vacant lots. It is recommended to increase the number of agents to combat endemic diseases and maintain the integration of efforts between public authorities and the population to prevent the proliferation of the dengue.
