BARREIRAS À PRÁTICA DO CUIDADO HUMANIZADO EM AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
Abstract
Objective: To identify the main barriers to the practice of humanized care in the hospital environment. Method: An integrative literature review was carried out, searching for articles published between 2010 and 2024 in the VHL, PubMed and SciELO databases. Results: The main barriers identified in the literature were: work overload of the healthcare team, lack of time, inadequate infrastructure, human and material resources, difficulties in communication between the team, patients and families, and the organizational culture focused on technical procedures in to the detriment of humanized care.Conclusion: It is essential that hospital institutions implement strategies to overcome these barriers, such as improving team working conditions, investing in training and continuing education, developing effective communication protocols and promoting an organizational culture that values humanized care.
