The stabilization of soils for paving low-traffic roads using recycled materials in civil engineering has proven to be a sustainable and cost-effective alternative. One example is the addition of recycled graded aggregate (RGA) in the soil stabilization process. Recycled graded aggregate is a byproduct derived from the recycling of construction and demolition waste, including fragments of concrete, bricks, and stones. The objective of this study is to evaluate the use of different percentages of recycled graded aggregate (RGA) in the paving of a residential condominium in the municipality of Senador Canedo, Goiás, designed for light vehicle traffic. The physical and strength properties of RGA were assessed using two mix ratios: 50% RGA and 50% gravel, and 20% RGA and 80% gravel. The study involved analyzing the types of soil present at the construction site, considering the planned earthworks for pavement execution. In conclusion, the results indicated that the addition of recycled graded aggregate (RGA) improves the mechanical properties of the soil, such as compressive strength, load-bearing capacity, and compaction optimization, contributing to the durability and stability of paved roads.
