EMPREGO DE NÓS E A GENTE NO PREENCHIMENTO DO SUJEITO EM COCAL-GO

Este artigo apresenta aspectos da variedade linguística de Cocal-GO. A partir doreconhecimento da comunidade linguística em questão, da revisão teórica e utilizando asteorias sobre funcionamento da língua em contexto de uso real, discute-se o comportamentolinguístico dos cocalenses no que se refere ao emprego da primeira pessoa plural do pronomepessoal do caso reto “nós” em detrimento ao uso de “a gente” exercendo a mesma funçãosintática. Diz ainda sobre a relação e influência do emprego da flexão verbal e a seleção dopronome a ser empregado como sujeito. Ainda, aborda-se a questão do preconceito linguísticosofrido pelo falante que não domina a norma culta da língua e, por esse motivo, usa comoestratégia de comunicação o recurso da omissão da flexão verbal dispensada no uso de “agente” no lugar de “nós”.
