The transition to electric vehicles (EVs) is essential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing climate change. In Brazil, however, EV adoption is hindered by the limited charging infrastructure. This paper proposes a practical and applied approach to analyze the economic feasibility of implementing charging stations integrated with photovoltaic systems, taking into account current legislation (Law 14.300/2022), the Electric Energy Compensation System (SCEE), and the Simples Nacional tax regime. Using indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), the study evaluates the financial return and operational challenges of such investments. The results aim to support investors and guide more informed decisions regarding the economic viability of sustainable solutions in Brazil’s electric mobility sector.
