Goiânia today suffers from several environmental problems resulting from the urbanization process, which occurred in the last decades. Facing the fragility of environmental laws and urban planning, a city for the target of disordered growth, allowing the use and undue occupation of the valley bottoms, a plant suppression in Areas of Permanent Preservation - APP, excessive waterproofing of the soils, among others. The present work aims to identify and propose measures for the environmental impacts caused by urbanization, related to drainage of rainwater, incorporating current model, a concept of modern urban drainage, with environmental focus and techniques based on the maintenance of areas and water infiltration Not alone. Geoprocessing techniques allowed an environmental analysis and an estimate of a quantity of water can avoid the launching in the rainwater drainage network, from the capture of the water from roofed areas and the use of batch-level infiltration mechanisms. This estimate is not pertinent to any socio-environmental context that stimulates harmonious interaction between man or the environment, encouraging good practices in the management of rainwater that contribute to the maintenance of natural resources.
