THE INFLUENCE OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN AND THE CONSEQUENCES IN THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT
Keywords:
Family, Child, Domestic violence, SchoolAbstract
The article aims to investigate situations of domestic abuse and the role of the school, to show the referral of this problem in the school context. It brings the formation of the family from the beginning and shows the new conceptions in the current context, which is defragmented and triggers various types of violence. These factors lead to violence towards the child, as it addresses the laws and public policies aimed at the family / school interest. It is considered that the issue of domestic violence is treated with fear in the school environment and education professionals. The methodology used was qualitative using the bibliographical survey, which investigated some works being the main Veronese and Costa (2006) that expose the violence in a simple way, showing that there is still much to debate on this subject. However, it is pointed out as a great problem the difficulty in identifying violence in the school and domestic sphere, because it appears diluted in attitudes apparently not related to the concept of violence.
