Keywords:

This explanatory study of qualitative approach aims to understand in what consists the exercise of rights in research according to ethics for academic productions. Therefore, we use as methodological procedure the technique of bibliographical research through authors with reflections that approach from anonymity, confidentiality and plagiarism until the copyright in the production of knowledge. Based on these themes, we first focused on the concept of ethics and then about its directions regarding copyright and specificities, including the basic legal guidelines and what constitutes and does not constitute an offense to the rights. From the analyzes and discussions we obtained as a result the understanding of different academic procedures, such as integrity and scientific misconduct, as well as the harmful influence of personal interests, supplanting the true value of scientific knowledge.
