This article aims to analyze how the digitalization of the economy has defined a new production pattern, affecting the labor market and the policies of insertion of people with disabilities. It is concluded that the understanding of the current stage of technological development and capitalism in the digital era is fundamental for the formulation and analysis of inclusive social policies appropriated to the digital age.
