These questions have Always troubled humanity and led man to the most diverse experiences, in the field of faith and Science. The importance of belief for human existence. Both Science and religion are important for humanity, since they are part of the construction and organization of Society. The article proposes as its main objective to understand the relationship between sciende and religion, through a literature review methodology we propose to verify how the Bible was used to substantiate its superiority in relation to Science, describe a possibility of dialogue and relate which is the propitious place for the construction of this dialogue. Divided into two parts, the first historically establishes the supposed “war” between both and verifies how the Bible is used and placed as superior to Science. In the second part, the process os secularization allows the construction of a dialogue through ecotheology, so due to the reductionism on the subject it was important to emphasize the importance of the university as a locus to begin the construction of the proposed dialogue. Finally, in the final considerations we presente in this work that the relationship between Science and religion, despide being troubled and reductionist, occurs through ecotheology , that the historical war between both allowed the usurpation of politics on the subject, fundamentalismo is a delay in constributing to the construction of a dialogue build both with Christianity and with Islam. The theme has its limitations because some subjects are sensitive to be treated by both.
