The lack of qualified labor interferes with the growth of the construction industry, since it limits its productive capacity and the expansion of the country's economy. The article addresses educational animation as a learning object for training in civil construction. The objective of this research is to develop an educational animation as a learning object for the training of construction workers. In order to achieve the proposed objective, a survey was conducted in construction education institutions in five different states, based on Design Science Research, expressed in 5 phases. The instrumentation and data collection were directed to the target audience and designers/developers and sought to assess, at first, the knowledge/affinity of the target audience with educational animation. It is noted in the literature review that contemporary languages used for education motivate, engage and assist in the learner's memorization, although few studies delve into this topic. It is expected that this study can contribute to the development of related themes, as well as instigate debates and correlated developments.
