THE INTERNET USE AS A TEACHING - EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE IN SCIENCE TEACHING AND BIOLOGY

The present work focuses on the resistance that education professionals find in using technologies as educational tools, emphasizing the process of globalization that brings ICTs in education and in Brazil, to find out why teachers do not use the technologies in their classes. The objective is to emphasize the resistance that educational professionals find in using technologies as an auxiliary pedagogical tool and to evaluate how the insertion of these technologies occurs in some schools in the interior of Goiás and if these technological tools are actually being underutilized in these schools.The methodology used was descriptive-exploratory with a quantitative-qualitative approach, carried out in 10 public schools (eight from Anápolis, one from Joanapólis, one from Pirenópolis) with 100 students, 50 from elementary school and 50 from high school, as well as 20 teachers Of the area of Sciences and Biology, to verify the availability and employability of the technologies in the education. As a result, it was observed that in the classes technological didactic resources are used and such tools are very important and motivating, contributing considerably to the construction of the knowledge, however it was verified that the use of any other didactic modality beyond the traditional one implies in efforts and depends on other agents of the school, the availability of materials, equipment and facilities of the establishment.
