Abstract

The aim of this article is to present a study about the relationship between historical science and didactics of history, through the analysis of the practice of oral communication of texts in academic events. This research is bibliographical, qualitative and descriptive. As a result, we analyze several authors and scholars of the subject, to find out how historical consciousness relates to the present, making the research presented more intelligible. Finally, we criticize the practice of merely reading communications in order to remind us that the communicator must always promote the "function" of historical consciousness when presenting orally his research.
