INCLUSION OF THE STUDENT WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the scientific production published in the Special Education Journal on the themes of access and permanence of people with special educational needs in higher education. It is a literature systematic review, which was conducted in the virtual environment of this journal's database in search of published works between the years 2010 to 2018, with the results being submitted to content analysis. Of the 22 articles found in the database, only 11 entered the research, which was due to the inclusion and exclusion criteria adopted by this study. The search strategy was based on the words: Inclusion, Inclusive Education, higher education and people with disabilities. The studies analyzed emphasized the importance of accessibility to ensure the permanence of students with disabilities in higher education, and the categories considered important for the implementation of these measures were the elaboration of inclusive public policies, the use of assistive technologies, an inclusive pedagogical practice and adaptations curricular, structural and attitudinal characteristics of the educational institution.

Bárbara Andressa Mendonça de Rocha Mesquita, Universidade Federal de Goiás / Universidade Estadual de Goiás.

Graduada em Educação Física pela Universidade Estadual de Goiás (2012), pós-graduada em Docência Universitária, pós-graduação em Fundamentos da Educação Infantil e séries iniciais e pós-graduação em Movimento Humano. Mestranda em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Goiás. Trabalha com enfase nas temáticas prática pedagógica, Educação Física escolar, inclusão, natação e saúde. Atualmente é professora concursada pela Prefeitura de Goiânia, exercendo a função de professor regente no Ensino Especial - APAE/GO e Professora Universitária no curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física da Universidade Estadual de Goiás.

Tadeu João Ribeiro Baptista, Universidade Federal de Goiás - Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação / Faculdade de Educação Física e Dança.

Possui graduação (Licenciatura Plena) em Educação Física pela Escola Superior de Educação Física de Goiás, Especialização em Planejamento Educacional pela Associação Salgado de Oliveira e Treinamento Esportivo pela Escola Superior de Educação Física de Goiás. É Mestre em Educação Brasileira pela Universidade Federal de Goiás. É Doutor em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Goiás. Atualmente cursa Pós-Doutorado em Educação na Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP, na linha de pesquisa de Filosofia e História da Educação. Professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal de Goiás, onde atua como Docente no curso de graduação em Educação Física e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação. É Líder do COEESA - Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa sobre Corpo, Estética, Exercício e Saúde. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, com ênfase em Educação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: corpo, educação física, indústria cultural, estética, saúde e atividade física/práticas corporais.
