Abstract

This work aimed at a stereotyping of the mad scientist in a public school in the city of Goiânia. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to students of the 5th year of Elementary School, with the purpose of indicating the alternatives that correspond to a scientist. Subsequently he was explicitly what a scientist is, and through a show, it is a program that can be a scientist and consequently can do science. The results show that there is a statistic of the mad scientist, which can be broken from a playful intervention.
