USE OF RECOVERY TECHNIQUES DEGRADED BY AN EROSIVE PROCESS IN URBAN AREA AT THE MONT SERRAT GARDEN IN THE APARECIDA MUNICIPALITY OF GOIÂNIA-GO
Abstract
Due to the process of urban expansion serious problems are directly affecting the society in the city of Aparecida de Goiânia, mainly regarding the environmental impacts, among several environmental problems in urban areas is highlighted the erosive processes. The work is based on data collected in loco and by the Google Earth Pro system, where it was possible to verify the occurrence and the main causes that generated the erosive process in the Mont Serrat Garden, the study consisted in the survey of soil degradation by erosive process in urban area and the study of the most appropriate techniques for its recovery. It was possible to observe that the erosive process has a direct connection with the urban expansion, the waterproofing of the soil, the vegetation suppression and the bad infrastructure of the drainage system. After researching the most appropriate techniques for the recovery of urban erosion, it can be concluded that the restructuring of the urban drainage system (micro and macrodrainage), limestone works, slope stabilization, earthmoving and revegetation, form a set of techniques for the recovery of the erosive process. Although the recovery techniques that were studied in the research are expensive, they were adequate for the recovery of the area affected by erosion, providing improvements in the urban infrastructure and making the population accessible to the traffic routes..Downloads
