GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES AS A QUALITY FACTOR IN THE COSMETICS INDUSTRY.

The cosmetics market in the world is dynamic, which requires companies to invest increasingly in standards of quality and innovation. The objective of this work was to evaluate the elaboration of the manual of good manufacturing practices of a cosmetics industry and its influence on quality. As an object of study, an industry based in Mato Grosso do Sul was started, starting in August 2016. The manual has 85 operational procedures and was based on DRC 48/2013 / ANVISA. It involves the entire company, from the minimum necessary structure, adequacies, human resources, procedures of cleaning and sanitization, quality control of the products and processes, standard formula, among others. It can be observed that the highlighted procedures have a direct influence on the quality, since they address the minimum conditions for the company to base its processes according to the pertinent legislation, besides guiding all the procedures within the process. Thus, it can be concluded that the manual of good manufacturing practices influences the quality factor, due to the close link it has with the sector's legislation, it seeks quality in the form of procedures that lead to quality and safe products and processes For the consumer and for the employee.
