THE INCLUSION OF THE VISUAL DISABLED IN SCHOOL REGULA: AN ANALYSIS FROM THE STUDENT PERCEPTION

The inclusion of students with disabilities in the regular school classroom is currently a lively discussion. Brazilian legislation guarantees, but the inclusion of fact in the school environment leaves much to be desired, many are the gaps and difficulties encountered by these students to assert their rights to a quality education that meet their demands and needs. Thus, this article aims to understand the conception of a visually impaired student about their inclusion in the context of the regular school. This is a qualitative social approach research carried out at a school in the municipal education network of the municipality of Lauro de Freitas, Bahia, and had as interlocutors a student with visual impairment, the manager and the teacher responsible for the specialized care. The study revealed that, faced with the difficulties of Brazilian schools in including students with disabilities in the classroom, the reception of the school being researched is a major advance in the inclusion of students with disabilities. visual impairment, since, before the student was interviewed, she did not feel welcomed and included in the school.Downloads
